Thanks to A., we had a very special lesson today, a counting-one with her Dean's rag book.
ONE AND TWO ARE THREE.
This company was founded in 1903 by Henry Samuel Dean to launch his brightly coloured, printed rag books for children who "wear their food and eat their clothes."

Spring blossoms

What a wonderful hour for coffee-time we spent in a blossoming garden, with our American "assistant" (who has been a teachers' aid for seven months in Bordeaux) before she goes back to the States.

Ten of us had made it, for this first English meeting after two weeks OFF.
We managed to speak and/or to listen to others for the whole hour, nearly without a single "en-aparté" in French. Congratulations.
Humour was back too, and we enjoyed a lot Christian's plays on words, called puns, (Scottish small peas) as well as Aline's ones, for example "whales" for umbrellas' ribs.
